Job Title: Collection & Delivery Driver & Demonstrator – Horticultural & Groundcare Equipment
Job Type: Full-Time; based on 39hr week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
About Us
We are a small, friendly, family-run business based in Frithville, near Boston, specialising in horticultural and groundcare equipment. We pride ourselves on providing a personal, reliable service to our customers across the local area.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Collection & Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves collecting and delivering horticultural machinery to customers, installing and demonstrating new machines as well as supporting the workshop with basic handling of equipment and building up of new machines. Mechanical knowledge a benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and delivering horticultural and garden machinery to customers
- Demonstrations on delivery
- Loading and unloading equipment safely
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Completing basic delivery paperwork
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean and well maintained
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Class 2 HGV Advantageous but not essential
- Good knowledge of local routes in the Lincolnshire area is beneficial
- Physically fit and able to handle machinery
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Friendly manner and good communication skills
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not essential
